CampOutrageous in Review

This past week, Bellevue hosted CampOutrageous, Bellevue’s Vacation Bible School for kids who recently completed Pre-K5th grade. More than 4,000 people attended this year’s event where they heard the Gospel through story, games, crafts, and songs.

Each Worship rally was also livestreamed with hundreds of viewers, making CampOutrageous a tremendous outreach event for people in Memphis and around the world, both in person and online.

Through interactive, innovative stage presentations, staff and volunteers reenacted the story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection through Treasure Quest, the adventurous story of four children searching for truth. Their quest led to the understanding that Jesus is the only thing that matters. He is both our Savior and our purpose in life.

Additionally, over $9,000 was raised for missions, specifically for a community playground to be built for River City Church in Vancouver, Washington. The enthusiasm and generosity of these CampOutrageous kids helps fulfill the vision of Bellevue, to be a catalyst for spiritual awakening in Memphis and beyond.

We praise God for the 226 personal salvation decisions made at this year’s CampOutrageous. We encourage you to gather your family to watch the CampOutrageous presentations online.
