Prayer Requests
August - September
• Carrie’s family is facing hardships and feel helpless and hopeless: daughter recently developed diabetes; 8 year-old son 30% deaf in both ears; home flooded with 14 years possessions including her Bible gone. She and husband and five children living in unair-conditioned rental. Her church turned their back on the family; husband unchurched. She longs for a genuine walk with the Lord for herself, her husband, and her children. She begs prayer that she can stand strong in the Lord once more and trusts that God will bring her husband to Himself.
For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has He hid His face from him; but when he cried unto Him, He heard. Isaiah 50:9
Please pray for the following:
• Sixteen year-old niece has meningitis, is in extreme pain. Prayer is asked that when tested, this will be viral, rather than bacterial which is much worse.
• Willie has stomach cancer and is unsaved; not expected to live more than a month.
• Eddie needs salvation, deliverance, guidance, mercy
• John needs salvation, deliverance, healing
• Williams Family need God’s hedge of protection
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel. Blessed is the man that makes the Lord his trust. Mark 1:15; Psalm 40:4

• Ed needs a job; his wife has an upcoming job interview
• Loretha asks prayer for her household, husband, finances, their children, and all to have a closer walk with the Lord.
• Wife concerned for 65 year-old husband who is business is failing, but does not wish to retire. Prayer is asked for his heart and mind to be open to sound wisdom.

• Greg, husband and father of three, underwent colon cancer surgery with guarded success; however, cells found in lymph nodes.
• Nelda came through colon surgery successfully, but ovarian cancer discovered.
• Dennis is in state 3 of cirrhosis of the liver; needs transplant or a miracle

Please pray for the following:
• Judy and Bill need a financial miracle. They are on an extremely limited income, have had major health issues that required hospitalization and having trouble meeting their responsibilities.
• Oford asks fervent prayer for him and his wife’s family: their own children and children from their previous marriages.
• Person is struggling with being passed over for promotion after years of achievement toward the goal; desires to be free of any bitterness and depression; conformed to His will.

Please pray for the following:
• Wife and mother desires that her family stay grounded in Jesus’ teaching and live by His Word. Family suffers from much stress with strain of financial needs, elderly parents to care for, raising a strong-willed pre-teen, and learning to trust husband again after incident of infidelity. Fears breaking under the strain, but asks for strength in the Lord.
• Peter asks prayer for the salvation of those who broke into their house and stole many things; and for God’s provision for items taken
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise Him. Psalm 28:7
Please pray for the following:
• Sterling, 5 years old, continues to have 2-4 seizures despite medication given after surgery to remove brain tumor. He will have an MRI August 24 to determine if remaining tumor has decreased or still requires further surgery. Pray against possible loss of peripheral vision in both his eyes. Ask God to be glorified in all that pertains to this child.
• Minnie continues in hospice. Pray for her and husband who faithfully stays by her side as caregiver to have strength and comfort.
Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. Jeremiah 17:14
Please pray for the following:
• Mike, 39 years old, has prostate cancer which has spread to the bone and facing chemo treatment – needs strength and hope
• Rhoda has been struck again with cancer for the 3rd year in a row. Prayer is requested for husband and children as they all deal with this – to stay strong mentally and spiritually.
• Thomas is a patient at St. Jude, with Leukemia; received chemo for 3 years, off treatment for one year and relapsed last June. Received a bone marrow transplant last September and relapsed last week in July this year. Deep need of prayer.
“I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27

• Craig’s marriage fell apart less than a year after they were married. He asks fervent prayer for his wife’s heart to be open soon to him and his two children.
• Ronald suffered a stroke; he and family in deep need of prayer
• Pray for lady into whose pool a child accidentally fell and drowned; boy’s family in deep need of prayer
• Juanita feels hopeless, helpless, filled with sadness and has no job. She is searching for reality and longs for peace.

• Warren asks prayer for his wife who has macular degeneration and some Alzheimer’s and patience, understanding and lots of love to flow from his heart to hers.

• Lany seeks guidance for her, her husband, and family in a possible move that would bring them closer to greater family. Several possibilities are open, but confusion is clouding decisions. Wisdom and discernment sought from God.

• Gary is recovering from heart surgery, but faces more in the near future.
• Maggie desires to open to greater outreach than ever before, and rest in God’s ability to provide for her and her family.

• Ashley is returning to college and asks for a hedge of protection against peer pressure to engage in activities that offend the Lord and destroy her testimony. She offers praise for the healing of her friend from cancer!

• A legal immigrant asks God’s guidance in the processing of his documents and the launching of his career in the US. He desires his life be marked by peace, love, and the hand of God.
• D struggles with an addiction to pornography and sex. His friend deeply desires his salvation.

• Judy suffers from an ongoing bout with cancer; now facing kidney surgery; daughter, with two children, is going through divorce from husband in jail and longs to stay focused on the Lord, showing His love to others.

A PRAISE REPORT:
An immigrant who is seeking to become a citizen in the US gives this testimony: I praise and glorify God and testify the wonders He has done in my life and that of my family. From hopelessness, I and my family are given hope when I won a green card to go to the US. From nowhere, we raised money for the processing of the documents and flight ticket. These are just part of abundant blessings from God as a reward to a believing family. PRAISE THE LORD!
Please pray for the following:
• Rudy is moving to a new job and is grieving over leaving the city where so many have blessed him in his walk with the Lord. Seeks comfort.
• Missionary couple is struggling with marital problems and need power to overcome difficulties in their relationship.
• Brenda, ill since January 31, suffers from undiagnosed physical problems resulting in loss of appetite and severe weight loss.
• Roy suffers from cancer of throat and stomach
• Family is going through extreme financial hardship, limited income, rent and utilities unpaid, need fervent prayer.

• Amy needs God’s direction and comfort after her husband walked away from her and 2 year-old son
• Arvid, 43 years old, suffers from Lou Gehrig’s disease and needs much prayer
• Mike has stage 4 liver cancer, pneumonia in left lung and is also unsaved.
• Judy has battled cancer for a year and longs for healing, comfort, joy, and peace.
The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. Psalm 147:11

• M’s sister is praying for restoration of her marriage and salvation of her husband who is abusive and uses their children in ways that causes them to disrespect her as their mother.
• Mike asks prayer for God to give him peace over a particular situation that has caused much depression
• Anonymous asks God’s protection, guidance, and help for himself and all on his heart in every area of their lives.
Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Isaiah 59:1; Psalm 46:1

• Tommy longs for reconciliation with his wife of 14 years and their two children. He is attending a “Breaking Free from Addictions” class on a regular basis, has asked forgiveness and healing from his family and is trusting god for a new life-long bond with them.
• For a very small church that is facing non-existence unless God brings brokenness and willing hearts to seek God’s will in all things so they can grow again.

• Judy, a school teacher, is battling fear as the school year approaches with all the educational changes and needs release from the spiritual warfare.
• A sidewalk counselor seeks godly wisdom in speaking to women outside an abortion clinic; desires her daughter to be a godly mother and wife.
In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near you. For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Isaiah 54:14; Ephesians 2:8

• Kristina is trying hard to start life over after being badly abused during the last several months. She is pregnant and is depressed due to no help from any source at the present time
• Angie has breast cancer and facing surgery in the near future. She and her husband and teenage daughter were saved recently. Pray for their encouragement as they deal with several stress-related issues in their family. They also have a 5 year old son.

• Marci’s work hours have been cut; she is behind in her rent; her utilities will be cut off soon, she has three children, the youngest if one year-old. Though she believes God will supply, she wonders why she is going through this horrible struggle.
• Husband and wife are engaged in a battle over her 18 year-old son who has left the home after a huge argument. She is deeply worried and asks prayer for the whole family.
• Kathryn is addicted to alcohol and drugs and involved in a questionable relationship. Desire for her to be saved and delivered.

• K , mother of 1 year-old daughter, seeks divorce from husband who is caught up with the use of steroids and deceit. Unsure of her salvation. He is lost.

• RC’s wife is seeking a divorce, is unwilling to reconcile, though the court has given until 12/21 for reconciliation. Her parents support her; he is devastated and begs prayer for restoration.
• Shirley needs a job and must make $125 per week. She expressed faith that God will provide.
• Rebecca’s parents and elderly grandmother are unsaved.
• Sharon, a 50 year-old mom with 14 year-old son, is studying to be a medical assistant, is facing the loss of her home due to decrease in income; three months behind. Seeking God’s will in all this.

• Man, 51 years old, has been out of work for 2 years and his bills are piling up. He fears he will not make it and spends many days depressed and hopeless.
• Jonathan feels everything in his life is going very bad and asks prayer for God to come into his life and turn things around. He knows he cannot survive without God’s merciful blessing.
• Eileen had two major surgeries and out of work for two years. She is seeking employment and praying for direction.
• Pray for a godly family undergoing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual pressures; job loss, and facing uncertainty as to what to do; trusting God.

Use this as a reminder to pray for all medical people who are first responders to tragedies that overwhelm their senses as they see the horrible results of sin.

• Heart cry for children of God who have lost their way to be found and come back to the Lord
• Sterling David, 5 year-old, underwent surgery August 24th for brain tumor; prayer asks for freedom from seizures, no complications regarding paralysis, complete healing; peace for parents and 3 young sisters.
• Heather has left the faith after having been raised in church and is involved in a lifestyle never imagined by her parents. Pray fervently for her return to truth.
• Brenda has multiple health issues for which doctors are unable to find the source. Asks God’s favor.

I have 3 jobs. I have a 1 month-old baby girl. I am tired. I don’t know what to do. I need more time and money, but it seems I am only allowed to choose one or the other. I don’t want charity. I want to know what to do. I don’t want pity. I want the strength to do whatever needs to be done. I don’t want to take more for myself. I just want to have more to give to my family. Please pray for my little girl and my wife.

Pray for this husband/father who is desperate for a meaningful life and is crying out for answers. God knows; He sees; and He is drawing this man to Himself. Pray he will be responsive and seek God for who He is and not for what He can give Him. Pray for a breakthrough spiritually.

• Fifteen year-old Korienne has a spot on the brain that causes violent seizures, requiring her to be on life support. Parents ask our prayers.
• Desire for peace with God and love in the home of Sutton, Kendra, Amanda, Gary, and Brittney.
• Lawanda feels something is missing from life even though she is blessed; desires the Lord to lead her.
• Kim desires restoration among family and friends, a stable marriage and home, health for her mom, and a job for herself, her sister, and niece.
