Attend Bellevue's 2008 Memphis Passion Play

A king's palace, a Galilean hillside, a Jewish temple, a Jerusalem marketplace, all within yards of each other and right here in Memphis. These sites, which will soon fill the Bellevue Baptist Church Worship Center, set the stage for the Memphis Passion Play. The Memphis Passion Play portrays the timeless love story of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Each year, the production requires weeks of dedicated practice by hundreds of Bellevue members. From the performers onstage to the technical crew backstage, nearly 950 Bellevue members are involved.

Presentations of the 27th annual Memphis Passion Play will take place on February 29 at 7:00 p.m., March 1 at 2:00 and 5:30 p.m., March 2 at 3:00 p.m., and March 3-4 at 7:00 p.m.

Take a trip to Jerusalem this March and find the hope that only Jesus Christ can give.
